How to Add Receivable

Accounts receivable are amounts a company has a right to collect because it sold goods or services on credit to a customer.

  • Go to Receivables page from side navigation.
  • On the top right corner, click “Add Receivable”. This form can be opened directly from any page by clicking “plus filled icon” on footer.
  • A Form will pop up. Fill the form with Receivable details.
    • Select the Receivable Date. By default, present date is selected.
    • Select Due date for receiving this Receivable.
    • Enter the Amount or you can perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division operations in that field. Click Calculate for result.
    • Select the Account from which this amount will be added/deducted.
    • Select the Department for which this Receivable is due.
    • After selecting the department, only payer of that department will be shown in Payer|Payee dropdown. Select the payer of this Receivable.
    • Select category against which this Receivable is due.
    • You can write any note against this Receivable.
    • Check “Notification” for getting notified on due date regarding this receivable.
  • Click “Add Receivable” button.
  • A green toaster will appear on bottom right corner with text “Receivable added successfully” indicating successful entry.
  • A red toaster will appear on bottom right corner if data is not entered correctly indicating failed operation.

How to Edit Receivable

  • Go to Receivables page from side navigation.
  • All Receivables are listed, click the edit icon in front of the Receivable you want to edit.
  • A Form will pop up with prefilled details of that Receivable.
  • Update any field you want to edit.
  • Click “Edit Receivable” button.
  • A green toaster will appear on bottom right corner with text “Receivable edited successfully” indicating successful entry.
  • A red toaster will appear on bottom right corner if data is not entered correctly indicating failed operation.

How to Delete Receivable

  • Go to Receivable page from side navigation.
  • All Receivables are listed, click the delete icon in front of the Receivable you want to delete.
  • Click “Yes” to confirm that you really want to delete that Receivable.
  • A green toaster will appear on bottom right corner with text “Receivable deleted successfully” indicating successful entry.
  • A red toaster will appear on bottom right corner if data is not entered correctly indicating failed operation
